By now you know that the contemporary architectural movement stemmed from mid-century modern visionaries.

So, what are the key differences between mid-century modern and postmodern (contemporary) architecture. Contemporary homes typically take minimalism to the next level with a simplified or neutral color scheme instead vibrant pops of color. Also, mid-century homes fuse with their natural environment to create a warm and inviting feel, but contemporary homes are inspired by industrialism with sharp, smooth, and clean designs.
