The Lamm house was commissioned in 1948 by Beatrice Lamm. It was built in 1950 by architect Walter Sanders. It was originally designed as a one bedroom, two bathroom summer house. Three additions were subsequently commissioned as the Lamms made it their permanent residence. In the 50s two additional bedrooms were added. In 2000 the living room and kitchen were expanded. A pool and extensive stone work were also added during the same period. This home has several unique features, that include but are not limited to, oak flooring that is stained black, an original dining room table designed by the architect, and mid-century furniture from Knoll, Modernica, Cassina, and Hermna Miller.
